    Situation

    For example, a group of private schools takes registrations on paper forms and by email, and staff phone parents one by one about missing documents.

    An app with one account covering all three children, unified notices, an absence alert as soon as it is recorded, and a fee statement per child with online payment.

  3. End-of-term reporting from one source

    Situation

    For example, a university gathers end-of-term indicators from spreadsheets sent by each college, then spends weeks reconciling definitions and figures.

    What could be built

    A data warehouse fed automatically from the SIS and LMS using agreed definitions, dashboards for each college, and scheduled reports in the formats supervising bodies ask for.

Delivery considerations in the sector

  1. Mobile first for parents and students

    Most parents and students reach services from a phone, so we design for small screens and patchy connections first, with a native Arabic interface and accessibility for a wide range of users.

  2. Capacity for peak periods

    Admissions opening, results day and the start of term are when usage multiplies. We load-test ahead of them, plan for scaling, and schedule releases away from mid-term and exam periods.

  3. Minors’ data and access rights

    Much student data belongs to minors, so we build fine-grained permissions (teachers see only their own classes), access logging and consent controls that support the institution’s obligations under the Personal Data Protection Law.
